Brent Lassi, VP of Information Security and CISO for Digital River, has nearly 20 years of experience in the information security field. Brent leads the selection and deployment of Digital River’s defenses and also works extensively with Digital River’s clients to ensure the security needs of each unique e-commerce story are met. Digital River’s Security Team lends not only the necessary compliance and security assurances required to perform e-commerce, but also is recognized as an innovative force guiding Digital River and its clients to safe and secure commerce experiences.
Prior to his role at Digital River, Brent served as Information Security Director for UnitedHealth Group. Brent also founded one of the world’s first application security companies, specializing in secure design and review of software. Brent currently holds the CISSP and CISM certifications.
With a keen eye for innovation, John Trobough has been a pioneer in revolutionizing mobile technology and its uses, at the forefront of the latest in the wireless Internet of Things (IoT) as well as cyber economics and sophisticated data analytics. He has built successful companies by repurposing and capitalizing their technology to realize commercial expansion and drive global market growth in new sectors.
John has recently been recognized by the White House with appointment to the prestigious President’s Innovation Fellowship program where he is building a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation within government and collaborating on high-profile initiatives aimed at saving lives, saving taxpayer money, and fueling job creation.
John is a dynamic entrepreneurial technology executive with extensive global experience. Prior to the White House, he served as President & CEO of Narus, an independent subsidiary of The Boeing Company focused on delivering big data analytics for cybersecurity 3.0 to its broad international client base. The industry leading solution offers unique, visually interactive data analytics that provide executives visibility and context for critical cyber decisions.
Prior to joining Narus, John was President of Teleca USA, where he took the initiative to transform the company’s singular focus on building handsets for key partners into a global leader in lucrative IoT markets, most notably providing next generation consumer electronics and automotive infotainment solutions at the industry’s nascent stage.
He has also served in executive roles at industry leading companies such as Openwave Systems, the company responsible for creating the mobile Internet. At Openwave, his executive positions spanned the Office of the CTO, Corporate Strategy, M&A, and head of the Mobile Business Unit, which defined the next generation of Web 2.0 mobile data and location gateways that exist today. John has also held senior management positions at Sylantro Systems, AT&T and Qwest Communications.
Early in his career, working with McCaw Cellular, John helped spur the wireless evolution from analog to digital technology. Recognizing the potential of digital mobility, John co-founded Gravitate, a company that created location-based P2P applications and services. The company filed several of the original patents around the idea of location-based advertising.
John is an alumnus of Stanford University Graduate School of Business and has a BA in Business Administration from Washington State University. He is an Advisor and Board Member for technology companies, and is an active Advisory Board Member to the Washington State University Entrepreneurship department & School of Business.
Prof. M. Vidyasagar is a very well-known researcher, research administrator, and innovator, with experience in having created and led research groups both in North America and India, in a academia, government, and industry. He has a wide range of expertise in many aspects of science and engineering, including machine learning and big data analytics and its applications. At present he holds the Cecil & Ida Green Chair at the University of Texas at Dallas and is also a Distinguished Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. He has received several honours and awards in recognition of his research, including Fellowship in the Royal Society, the oldest scientific society in the world.
As CSRA’s CTO, Mr. Khanna provides subject matter expertise in the area of information technology and its application to solve complex problems for our customers. He leads the CSRA Technology Office and the Group CTOs in shaping CSRA’s go-to-market technology strategy, managing our internal R&D initiatives, our strategic alliances, and ensuring we hire and retain talent in critical technology skill areas. The Technology Office sits at the intersection of our market-facing industries and our growth organization, guiding our efforts to pursue new business and deliver innovation to our customers.
Mr. Khanna currently serves on the Louisiana Tech University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science Advisory Board. He has also held leadership positions on several Tech America Commissions, and actively contributes to the Professional Services Council (PSC) working groups, and NVTC. Washington Technology Magazine and NVTC recognized him as their Innovator of the Year in November 2012.
Mr. Khanna has nearly 30 years of experience in information technology, systems engineering, information assurance, financial services and telecommunications markets. Prior to this role, he served as the Vice President, Chief Technology Officer for CSC’s North American Public Sector. His experience of leading MobileHelix, a venture backed mobile application integration company, as the CEO, along with prior leadership roles at DynCorp, GTE, MITRE, NEC, and COMSAT allow him to bring depth and breadth of technologies and business solutions to the CTO’s position.
Mr. Khanna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering, both from Virginia Tech.
